Getting Organized

946crayons

When I was small I used to love shopping for school stuff with my parents. Strolling through book and craft stores, while we ticked off every single item of the shopping list with a little triumphant fist strike into the air, was something I really enjoyed. And afterwards, when school started, the teachers gave us the curriculum for the first week. Each day we took all the materials we would need with us and started labeling exercise books, homework books, pens and boxes – I was in complete bliss.

Nowadays, it hasn’t changed much. The nineteen-year-old me still enjoys walking through shops, rummaging in boxes and spending way too much time in each sector. Yes, I like to have all possible kinds of pens, pencils and markers in all thinkable color variations with me at all times (un)necessary. Also, having more than one calendar or notebook can never harm.

Do not mistake me for a snob, basically anything with some cute animal, pattern or a hint of cuteness will do for me. If anything screams adorableness at me, you can be sure that I’ll take it when I see it. Aside from that, I’m the kind of person who believes that writing good texts also depends on your writing tool (Of course I also have a specific eraser and a Wite-Out as even the greatest pen cannot prevent you from making spelling mistakes).

A few things I need to make my organized, geeky self feel satisfied:

an organizer

a notebook

a good writing pen

markers

a big pencil case

a huge, versatile bag

an alarm clock (that's a good distance away when it rings in the morning)

a lunchbox (for homemade bentos, we'll see if that ever happens)
